As she rolled her tresses neatly in a knot and slipped in her heels.. she gazed at herself in the mirror.. "you look beautiful girl, just.." she murmured and picked up the kajal stick.. a thought of him crossed her mind as she put kajal in those brown eyes.. next moment she saw him standing behind right there..

fine..? she asked..

he smiled..

she turned around quickly just to find an empty room.. *sigh* ..

when will I get to celebrate little little things with you..? haven't heard from you for so long.. hope you okay.. I really wish someday somewhere I'll see you with that smile..

she thought and walked out of the room.

He was waiting for her.. his eyes twinkled as he looked at his beautiful wife.. "you look stunning in red lady.." he whispered softly and caressed her face.. she blushed a little and looked up at that moon so bright.. his thoughts captured her mind again.. her heart was somewhere else tonight.. she was smiling outside but longing was hitting her bad..

It was that one day.. when she always wish to be somewhere else.. with someone else.. just for sometime.. but her luck never shined.. every year the day comes and goes just like that.. in the end.. she always smile with misty eyes and hope ..may be next year.. my prayers will be answered.. many years passed by but nothing changed.. eyes kept weaving dreams.. heart kept waiting.. but faith kept holding her high..

As they entered the parking lot of a restaurant.. her heart skipped a beat.. she felt something.. which she haven't felt for a long time.. but she knew the feeling.. she knew what her heart was trying to whisper.. she knew it all.. she almost jumped out of the car.. and rushed in.. standing near the door scanned each and every table fast.. and her eyes glued at one spot.. Yes! it was him there.. right in front of her ..

She was struggling hard with her emotions.. her voice choked.. eyes dazed.. sitting diagonally across him they exchanged few furtive glances.. silence speak volumes in such times.. world went invisible.. she pinched herself to feel alive.. and the other one smiled..

Eyes met eyes and made love for one last time..

Finally prayers were answered and she murmured "Happy B'day to you".. he smiled..

And waved Good Bye!!

Whatever come or go but I can never forget to wish you on your day.. I love you always.. she murmured with a sigh!!
